Interpretation Of Obscure Quranic Verses Through “Dustur Al-Akhlaq Fi Al-Qur’an” By Muhammad Abdullah Diraz: An Analytical Study Of Obligation And Responsibilty As Model

Abstract

Allah has revealed the Noble Quran as a way of life for all people, so he commanded us to contemplate it in order to understand its meanings, revealing the faces of its miracles, extracting its universal laws, and exploring its secrets and wisdom. The Almighty Allah said which means: ﴾a Book We have revealed to you abounding in good that they may  ponder over its verses, and that those endowed with understanding may be mindful﴿ (al-Quran. Sadd: 29). But forsaking the full reflection of the Quran and abandoning the discussion of the scholars’ books has led to the inability to answer the problems raised about understanding some verses which required high accuracy of scholars explanation. Therefore, the research aimed to present some Quranic verses that might seem contradicting to its true meaning , and then quoting the suggestions  of the scholar Diraz to enable understanding the real meaning of that verses through his book “Dustur Al-Akhlaq Fi Al-Qur’an”, to defend the Quran on the one hand, and then shedding light on the methodology that had been implemented by Diraz to explain the Obscure Quranic verses on the other hand; this can be used as a path for those who are eager to ward off the delusions that stem from the misunderstanding of the Quranic verses. By employing the inductive and deductive analysis method; the research has reached three problematic examples and presented several solutions proposed by Diraz; which are as follow:  Firstly, the clash between the obligation of the obedience of the prophet Muhammad peace be upon to him and the verses that blame him, secondly, the clash between the ethical responsibility and the intercession of the day of judgment, and thirdly, the clash between the individual accountability of the own deeds in this life and its independence from other people’s fate regardless of the kindship.

لقد أنزل الله القرآن الكريم؛ لنتّخذه منهج حياة؛ فأمرنا بتدبّره؛ لفهم معانيه، ودفع مشكله، واستنباط أحكامه، وكشف إعجازه، واستخراج سننه، فقال: ﴿كِتَٰبٌ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ إِلَيۡكَ مُبَٰرَكٌ لِّيَدَّبَّرُوٓاْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ وَلِيَتَذَكَّرَ أُوْلُواْ ٱلۡأَلۡبَٰبِ﴾ (القرآن. ص: 29)؛ لكن هجر التدبّر التّامّ للقرآن، وترك مفاتشة تراث العلماء به؛ قاد إلى عدم القدرة على الإجابة عن الإشكالات المثارة حول فهم بعض آياته؛ ولذلك فإنّ البحث استهدف استخراج بعض المواضيع القرآنية التي يوهم ظاهرها التعارض من خلال فصلي الإلزام والمسؤولية من كتاب: "دستور الأخلاق في القرآن" للعلامة محمد عبد الله دراز، ثم نقل توجيهاته لها، إسهامًا في الذّب عن كتاب الله من جهة، والتعريف بطريقة دراز في تفسير مشكل القرآن من جهة أخرى؛ ليكون ذلك طريقًا هاديًا للمهتمين في دفع إيهام الاضطراب عن كتاب الله، موظّفًا المنهج الاستقرائيّ؛ لتتبع الآيات القرآنية التي يوهم ظاهرها التعارض من خلال دستور الأخلاق في القرآن، ثم الاستنباطي التحليلي؛ لاستخراج طريقة دراز في التعامل مع الإشكالات الموهمة للآيات القرآنية، وعرض إجاباته عنها وتوجيهاته لها، ومن ثم مناقشتها وتحليلها. وقد توصّل البحث إلى استخراج ثلاثة إشكالات نموذجية مع عرض عدّة توجيهات للشيخ دراز لها؛ فالأوّل: ما أشكل بين وجوب طاعة محمّد ﷺ، وخطاب العتاب الموجّه إليه، والثّاني: ما أشكل بين المسؤوليّة الأخلاقيّة، والشّفاعة الأخرويّة، وأمّا الثّالث: فهو ما أشكل بين المسؤوليّة الفرديّة، والإلحاق بدرجات الجنة.
