Abstract

This study aimed to develop a scale for organizational loyalty for workers in Sultan Qaboos University and University of Nizwa. The sample of the study consisted of (303) workers (151 males and 152 females), who were selected using random sampling from Sultan Qaboos University and University of Nizwa. The scale consisted of (35) items representing six dimensions (loyalty to the organization, organizational culture, appreciation, material incentives, work stress and social relation). The validity of the scale was ascertained using two methods: Face validity and factorial validity by using confirmatory factor analysis. The results indicated acceptable validity. The reliability of the scale was measured using Cronbach alpha and the test-retest methods. Cronbach alpha for the total score was found to be (0.90). Cronbach alphas of the six dimensions were (0.69-0.85), with median (0.71). Also, the test re-test reliability coefficient was found to be (0.90).

هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى بناء مقياس الولاء التنظيمي للعاملين في جامعة السلطان قابوس وجامعة نزوى. وقد تكونت عينة الدراسة من (303) عاملا وعاملة (151 عاملا، 152 عاملة)، تم اختيارها بطريقة عشوائية من العاملين في جامعة السلطان قابوس والعاملين في جامعة نزوى، وتكون المقياس بصيغته النهائية من (35) فقرة موزعة على ستة محاور وهي : (الولاء للمنظمة، والثقافة المنظمية، والتقدير، والحوافز المادية، وضغوط العمل، والعلاقات الإجتماعية). وقد أظهرت النتائج أن المقياس يتمتع بمؤشرات صدق وثبات جيدة، فقد تم التحقق من الصدق بطريقتين هما: الصدق الظاهري، وصدق البناء باستخدام التحليل العاملي التوكيدي.أما الثبات فقد تم حسابه بطريقتين هما: طريقة الاتساق الداخلي، وإعادة تطبيق الاختبار، حيث بلغ معامل ثبات ألفا كرونباخ للمقياس ككل (0،90)، بينما تراوحت معاملات ألفا كرونباخ للمحاور الستة بين (0،69-0،85) بوسيط قدره (0،71)، وبلغ معامل ثبات الإعادة للمقياس (0،90).
