Social justice is one of the fundamental principles in Islam, emphasizing equality, human dignity, and inclusive participation in society. Although this principle is affirmed in the Quran and Hadis, discrimination against the visually impaired still persists in contemporary reality. This issue arises when modern policies have not yet fully guaranteed the substantive involvement of this group in education, employment, and community life. This article aims to examine the rights of the visually impaired in the Hadis of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), with a particular focus on the dimensions of social justice and the development of an inclusive community. The study employs a qualitative methodology in the form of textual analysis, using a thematic analysis approach to Hadis. Data sources are derived from authentic Hadiss in the Kutub al-Sittah as well as other authoritative Hadis collections, filtered based on the authenticity of transmission (sanad) and thematic relevance. The findings identify four key principles in the Hadis: (i) respect for human dignity, (ii) collective social responsibility, (iii) inclusive social participation, and (iv) psychospritual support. These principles assert that Islam does not merely call for compassion but recognizes the rights and potential of the visually impaired as members of society. This study demonstrates that Hadis can serve as both a normative and practical foundation in formulating modern policies and programs that are more just, thereby contributing to the advancement of Islamic Disability Studies.
