The potential development of this agricultural and livestock waqf project is in line with the second sustainable development goal of producing sustainable agriculture and food supply security and aims to improve the quantity and quality of nutrition while stopping the issue of hunger. Furthermore, the issue of increasing prices for protein and agricultural sources such as chicken and vegetables has recently troubled consumers. Among the causes of this problem are unstable supply and demand and the suspension of the import of protein sources from foreign countries. Therefore, this study will identify potential improvements in the implementation of agricultural and livestock waqf projects to initiate initial actions to strengthen food security in Malaysia. This study applies a systematic literature review (SLR) methodology. The Scopus database was selected to access articles related to waqf agriculture and livestock farming. These articles will be analysed thematically using Atlas.ti 9. The findings of the study will produce the main themes of the study, including financial assistance for agricultural and livestock waqf projects, the duration of waqf land agreements, agricultural areas and good facilities, the quality of agricultural seeds and breeds for livestock farming, and exposure to modern agricultural practices.
